  32. As explained in the manual, when the DIAL command is given at the prompt,
  33. it enters CONNECT mode automatically if the call was successful, whereas if
  34. it is given in a script, it remains in command mode.  Your script should say:
  35.  
  36.   dial number
  37.   if success connect
  38.  
  39. Or:
  40.  
  41.   set dial connect on
  42.   dial number
  43.
